Clutch is an AI-powered study assistant that lives in your student's iMessages. They text Clutch like they would a friend, and Clutch helps them study — creating study guides, flashcards, practice quizzes, and explanations for any subject.

No app download is needed. Clutch works entirely through text messaging, making it simple and accessible. Students can send photos of their notes, ask questions about homework, and get personalized help for their specific classes.

  • Age verification: We verify users are 13 or older (COPPA compliant)

Data Handling for Minors

Clutch is designed for students aged 13 and older. For students under 18:

  • We collect only the minimum information needed: phone number, name, and study conversations
  • Conversations are used solely to provide personalized study help
  • We do not share student data with third parties for marketing
  • Parents can request a copy of their child's data or request deletion at any time
  • Students under 13 are not permitted to use the service without verifiable parental consent

How to Monitor or Restrict Usage

Since Clutch works through iMessage, you can:

  • View your student's conversation with Clutch directly in their Messages app
  • Use Screen Time settings to limit messaging hours
  • Block the Clutch number if you want to pause the service
  • Contact us to delete your student's account and all associated data

Pricing

Plans start at $9.99/month for unlimited access. We also offer a semester plan at $29.99 and an annual plan at $49.99 access. All subscriptions are managed through our payment partner, Whop, and can be cancelled at any time.
